MG Tree Service removes trees for homeowners in Richmond and nearby towns like Mechanicsville, Glen Allen, Chesterfield and Petersburg. When a tree is too close to a house, deck or fence to drop in one piece, a climber takes it down in sections and lowers the heavy pieces with rope. Brush goes through the chipper and the yard is cleaned before the crew leaves.
Tree Removal
Most tree removal calls in the Richmond area start the same way: a tall loblolly pine that sways too much in a storm, an oak that started dropping big limbs, or a tree that was planted too close to the house twenty years ago and now hangs over the roof. Central Virginia gets summer thunderstorms, the odd hurricane remnant and the occasional ice storm, and those are the days a weak tree becomes a real problem.
Removing a tree in an open field is simple. Removing one between a house, a deck and a wood fence is a different job. That is the work we are set up for: a climber in the tree, rope to control where each piece lands, a ground crew to move the wood, and a chipper and dump truck to take the mess away.

What is included
When there is no room to fell a tree in one piece, it comes down in sections from the top, starting with the limbs.
Heavy pieces are tied off and lowered with rope so they land where we plan, not on the deck, fence or roof.
Branches go through the wood chipper and leave in the dump truck. Want to keep some logs for firewood? Tell us at the estimate.
We rake and blow the lawn, driveway and beds so the yard looks better than when we arrived.
Owner-operated
Marcos looks at your trees himself and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
How it works
We walk the yard with you, check what the tree could hit and plan where every piece will go.
You get one clear price for the removal, cleanup and anything else we discussed. No surprises on the day.
Limbs first, then the trunk in sections when space is tight, with rope control near the house.
Brush is chipped, wood is hauled or stacked the way you asked, and the yard is cleaned up.
Pricing
Every tree is different, which is why we price after seeing it. These are the things that move the number up or down.
